Mingus

Mingus is a package for Python used by programmers, musicians, composers and researchers to make and investigate music. At the core of mingus is music theory, which includes topics like intervals, chords, scales and progressions.
On top of that are several packages that deal with classical notation, MIDI (sequencing, loading and saving), MusicXML, ASCII tablature. Everything is fully documentated, put into simple APIs and has a tutorial making it easy to jump straight in.

Musiconn Score Search

Das Projekt der Bayrischen StaatsBibliothek ermöglicht die Suche nach Tonfolgen in den Partituren zahlreicher Komponisten (u.a. Ludwig van Beethoven, Georg Friedrich Händel, Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Franz Schubert und Robert Schumann) sowie des Archivs von B. Schott's Söhne, die mit Techniken der Optical Music Recognition (OMP) digitalisiert worden sind. Allerdings resultieren aus diesen Techniken keine fehlerfreien Daten.
